Alumni Reunion Weekend 2015 celebrates the graduating classes of 1935, 1940, 1945, 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010; however, everyone, regardless of graduation year is invited and encouraged to attend.

Thursday, September 17
14th Annual Jan Soleau, IHM Memorial Swing and a Prayer Golf Scramble

Friday, September 18
Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony and Reception
7:00 – 10:30 p.m.
Marygrove College Theatre and Denk Chapman Hall

All alumni are invited to attend the award ceremony in the theatre and then enjoy refreshments, conversation and live music at the reception that follows in Denk Chapman Hall

An alumni choir, under the direction of alumnus Tom Zerafa ’91, will sing at this mass and you are invited to join them.

Pictures will be taken of classes whose graduation year ends in 5 or 0 (1955, 1960, etc.) and of groups from the 80s through the present.

Brunch and Induction of the Class of 1965 into the Fifty Year Club and recognition of those who graduated prior to 1965

Singers, Lectors, and Eucharistic Ministers Needed for Saturday Liturgy.
If you are interested in participating in the liturgy as a member of the choir, lector or Eucharistic Minister, please sign up on the registration form. Music and details will be sent to choir members and the choir will rehearse in the chapel at 9:00 a.m. prior to the liturgy.

Class Gift
In recognition of significant reunion years, you are invited to make a special reunion gift to Marygrove. Many reunion classes choose to support a special project, make a gift in memory of deceased classmates or in honor of special professors, or simply a donation in recognition of the outstanding education Marygrove provided. Please contact your reunion class representative for more information or make a contribution on the enclosed registration form

A block of rooms is being held at The Doubletree by HiltonTM, which is located at 5801 Southfield Expressway, Detroit, MI 48228. You may reserve a single, double, triple or quad occupancy room for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday night for a discounted rate of $114 per night.

We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Golf Course on the day of the outing, and, prior to the outing, on donations and sponsorships.

Any assistance is welcome! Whether you’re a Marygrove College Alumni, friend of Marygrove, family member of an Alum, friends of friends of friends!

  • If you can’t come to the meeting, we’ll call you – email you – to include you in the planning.

If you have helped in the past, you will be familiar with the outing flier and the donor form. We will be providing Donor forms and Golf Outing fliers for your use.

  • We will need DONATIONS from friends and corporations for the Charity Auction table.
  • We will need GOLFERS! And the flyer will have the registration form attached.
  • We will also be looking for some SPONSORS and advertisement/sponsor levels vary.
    • A quarter page ad is $100 . . the Presenting Sponsor level is $2,500
    • A Hole sponsorship is available at $300
    • A Foursome with the Hole sponsorship is available for $700
