The Marygrove College Master of Social Justice Program was selected to receive the Organizational Award at Michigan Peace Team’s Signature Event, Women of Conscience, Women of Courage, Women Who Challenge: Another World is Possible at Greenfield Manor in Dearborn on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 3-7 p.m.
Michigan Peace Team said they selected the Master in Social Justice Program to receive the Organizational Award because “the program gives students the opportunity to become scholar-activists in the field of social justice. Graduates are deeply committed to social justice and they are highly skilled social justice analysts and advocates who make a positive difference in their communities and beyond. The Master of Social Justice Program has also helped the campus to become a nationally recognized center for peace, social justice and sustainability efforts and events.”
