Sandwich-to-Go Program

The Alumni Association has volunteered once again to assist with the Cass Community Social Services’ Sandwich-to-Go Program on Saturday, March 24 from 9:30 a.m.-Noon at the Scott Center, 11850 Woodrow Wilson Dr., Detroit.  This program funds a significant number of Cass Community Social Services’ projects including homeless services, medical services and mental health services.

We will prepare hundreds of sandwiches that will be distributed among Detroit Police Department precincts. This is a great way to help feed the poor and visit (figuratively) those in prison. Those who have participated in the past have expressed their appreciation for having the opportunity to bond with their fellow alums while offering assistance to an organization that provides vital services to thousands of disadvantaged people in Detroit.
